Our story began three years ago when the Rs.600 crore SRF Group decided to enter the vision care business.

We began studying the market extensively. Then invested heavily, Rs. 400 million, at the last count. imported some of the best machinery, even had them made to order. We then hired a set of trained professionals. Trained them even more. Invested in R&D. Set strict quality control guide lines. And began production.

The first batches were sent to USA and Europe. Some labs in the US wrote back complementing us on our excellent product. Saying that our lenses were amongst the best they had ever processed. Our lenses came out with flying colours on all counts. The scratch resistant coating was noted to be amongst the best.

While all this was happening on one hand, our team was busy talking to opticians, ophthalmologists and eye care professionals in India.

PRE-DRYING :

It is recommended to pre-dry the Nylon granules in vaccum/air circulated ovens at 100/80 deg C for 2-4 hrs using perforated trays.

INJECTION MOULDING PARAMETERS :

Temperature settings in Deg C

Injection Pressure : 750 - 1250 Kg/sq. cm or sufficient to fill cavities. Use of shut-off nozzle is recommended to avoid drooling.
